Capt. G. E. Tiner Pine Bluff Fire Dept. Line of Duty Death October 5, 1922 Killed at Sixth and Missouri Street in a car crash. Capt. Garland Tiner of the Central Fire Station who was riding the right side of the machine, sustained injuries which caused his death two days later, when the telephone pole which was thrown high in the air, struck him in its descent.
